About me

I’m Noriega Sayago, a Mexican guitarist specialising in rock and classical music.

My musical training began in 2007. Since then, I have built my career through consistent study, discipline and a permanent search to take my performance further.

In 2014 I began my formal professional music training, completing my technical degree in 2017 and beginning my Bachelor’s Degree in Music that same year. During this time, I had the opportunity to study with outstanding musicians including Leo Brouwer and Xavier Jara.

Consistent work took me to international stages and competitions. In 2018 I won first place at the 23rd International Festival-Competition of Classical Music in Russia. In 2022 I again won first place at BUAP’s 9th International Autumn Classical Guitar Festival.

As a teacher, I aim to share not only technical knowledge, but also the discipline, judgement and tools that allow every musician to build their own voice.
